Sight loss: local charities

Local sight loss charities provide services in specific areas of the UK.

Henshaws Society for Blind People (Henshaws). Henshaws provides care, advice and training to blind and partially sighted people as well as people with other disabilities. It works in the north of England, with centres and communities in Manchester, Merseyside, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Newcastle.

Royal National College for the Blind (RNC). The RNC, based in Hereford, is the UK's leading college of further education and training for blind and partially sighted people aged 16+.

Visionary. Visionary is the membership organisation for local sight loss charities. It provides support and help to local sight loss charities so those charities can provide the best services for blind and partially sighted people.
