1.1 Welcome to the Jewish Care Interact website, www.jewishcareinteract.org (the “Website”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Website and your relationship with Jewish Care (“we”, “our” or “us”). Please read them carefully, as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you continue to browse and use this Website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions, which together with our Privacy & Cookies Policy govern Jewish Care's relationship with you in relation to this Website.
1.2 The Website is owned and operated by Jewish Care, a registered charity (no. 802559) and a company registered in England and Wales (no. 2447900), whose registered address is Amélie House, Maurice and Vivienne Wohl Campus, 221 Golders Green Road, London, NW11 9DQ. Jewish Care is regulated by The Charity Commission.
2. Trademarks and Copyright
2.1 The content of the Website is protected by copyright, trademarks, database right and other intellectual property rights legislation. The Website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance, graphics, information, photographs, logos and names.
2.2 You may retrieve and display the content of the Website on a computer screen, store such content in electronic form on disk (but not any server or other storage device connected to a network) or print one copy of such content for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep intact all and any copyright and proprietary notices.
2.3 You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the materials or content on the Website without written permission from us. All trademarks reproduced in the Website, which are not the property of, or licensed to us, are appropriately acknowledged on the Website.
3. Availability of the Website
3.1 Although every effort is made to keep the Website up and running smoothly, we cannot guarantee that the service will be fault-free. We accept no responsibility for and will not be liable for the Website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.
4. Advertising and Sponsorship
4.1 Part of the Website may contain advertising and sponsorship. Advertisers and sponsors are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the Website complies with relevant laws and codes. We will not be responsible to you for any error or inaccuracy in advertising and sponsorship material.
5. International Use
5.1 We make no promise that materials on the Website are appropriate or available for use in locations outside the United Kingdom, and accessing the Website from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful is prohibited. If you choose to access the Website from locations outside the United Kingdom, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
6. Forum Rules
6.1 If you wish to participate in the Jewish Care Interact Forum (the "Forum"), you must comply with these Forum Rules contained in this condition 6, our Privacy & Cookies Policy and the Terms & Conditions.
6.2 These Forum Rules, our Privacy & Cookies Policy and Terms & Conditions apply to everyone participating in the Forum, whether posting or reading comments ("material").
6.3 You agree to:
6.3.1 keep your username and password secure at all times and to contact us by emailing email@example.com immediately if you have reason to believe that they may no longer be secure;
6.3.2 only post material that complies with law in the UK and any country it is posted from;
6.3.3 accept full responsibility for any material you post;
6.3.4 evaluate for yourself the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any opinion, advice or other content in the Forum; and
6.3.5 if collecting information that you will use elsewhere, inform any user from whom you collect information how you will use the information and that you, not us, are collecting the information.
6.4 You agree not to:
6.4.1 use any other user's identity or a false identity to sign into the Forum;
6.4.2 post harassing, inaccurate, defamatory, abusive, offensive, pornographic, racist, sexist, threatening, vulgar, obscene, hateful or otherwise inappropriate material, or to post material which will constitute a criminal offence or give rise to civil liability or may cause offence in relation to gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability or working status;
6.4.3 post material that encourages conduct that constitutes a criminal offence, results in civil liability or otherwise breaches any applicable laws, regulations or code of practice;
6.4.4 post medical advice, or accept medical advice posted;
6.4.5 to advertise or offer to sell goods or services for any commercial purpose, make requests for money or promote chain letters without our express written permission; and
6.4.6 post or make available any material protected by copyright, trade mark, confidentiality or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner of the copyright, trade mark, confidential information or any other proprietary right. You acknowledge that you will be solely liable for any costs and damages resulting from any infringement.
6.5 While every effort is made to remove posts with, or that link to, inappropriate content, if you find anything offensive please use the report facility.
6.6 When users submit material to the Forum, the material is posted automatically. We may, but are not obliged to, monitor this material and edit or remove any material we deem inappropriate, without giving reason or notice.
6.7 To the full extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the Forum against the Forum Rules.
6.7.1 We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of the Forum Rules. We may temporarily or permanently deny any user access to the Forum without reason or notice.
6.7.2 Not complying with these Forum Rules breaches the Terms & Conditions of the Website. As a result, we may do all or any of the following:

6.7.3 The responses described in these Forum Rules are not limited. We may take any other action we reasonably think is needed.
6.8 You acknowledge that:
6.8.1 material posted in the Forum are not private communications and can be viewed by everybody who visits the Forum; and
6.8.2 other users may be able to identify who has posted material.
6.9 You must sign out of the Forum when you have finished posting material to prevent anyone else accessing the Forum using your identity. This is particularly important where other people may use the same computer as you. If you do not sign out, you may be deemed to be the person posting material unless you can prove otherwise.
6.10 For your safety and security, we recommend that you do not disclose personal information, such as your credit card details, home address, email address or phone number in the Forum.
6.11 By posting material in the Forum, you confirm that you:
6.11.1 are the sole author of that material and it is your own original work. You own the copyright and any other intellectual property in that material and the permissions given here do not conflict with any other rights you may have granted;
6.11.2 are granting us a worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free licence for commercial or non-commercial purposes to display the material in all and any media in its original format or edited, altered or combined with other works;
6.11.3 are not entitled to make any claim for payment, editorial control, use or any works derived from it;
6.11.4 agree that these permissions may not be withdrawn and shall last forever, binding on you, your successors and assignees; and
6.11.5 are granting to all other users of our Website the right to access such material and to view, store and reproduce the material for personal use and to enforce these Forum Rules against you if you breach them.
6.12 You acknowledge that users are solely responsible for the material they upload. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for loss, damage or distress as a result of material in the Forum.
6.12.1 We are not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice or statement made in the Forum. Material shall not be considered to be reviewed, screened, monitored, edited or approved by us.
6.12.2 You acknowledge that you are responsible for any material that you post in the Forum and that if you breach any of the Forum Rules you may be personally liable to us and any third party that suffers harm as a result.
6.12.3 You agree to indemnify and keep indemnified us, our successors and assigns, our directors, trustees, offices, employees and agents from and against all liabilities, claims, losses, costs, damages and expenses including legal fees we may reasonably incur if you breach any of the Forum Rules, or arising from your use of the Forum or use of information obtained from the Forum.
7. Your Use of the Website
7.1 In addition to the Forum Rules, you may not use the Website for any of the following purposes:
7.1.1 creating a link to the Website from another website or document without our prior written consent; or
7.1.2 interfering with any other person's use or enjoyment of the Website.
8. Our Liability
8.1 The information contained in the Website is intended for information purposes only. The information is provided by us and whilst we endeavour to keep the information up-to-date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the Website or the information, services, or related graphics contained on the Website for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.
8.2 From time to time the Website may also include links to other websites or resources which are beyond our control. These links are provided for your convenience only. We cannot make any warranties or guarantees in relation to such content.
8.3 If we are in breach of these Terms & Conditions, we will only be responsible for any losses that you suffer as a result to the extent that they are a foreseeable consequence to both of us at the time you make the relevant order. Our liability shall not in any event include business losses, such as lost data, lost profits or business interruption.
9.1 We may modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time for legal or regulatory reasons or to allow for the proper operation of the Website. Any changes will be notified to you via a suitable announcement on the Website. The changes will apply to the use of the Website after we have given notice. If you do not wish to accept the new Terms & Conditions you should not continue to use the Website. If you continue to use the Website after the date on which the change comes into effect, your use of the Website indicates your agreement to be bound by the new Terms & Conditions.
10.1 Your use of the Website and any dispute arising out of such use of the Website is subject to the laws of England and Wales.
10.2 You may not transfer any of your rights under these Terms & Conditions to any other person. We may transfer our rights under these Terms & Conditions to another business where we reasonably believe your rights will not be affected.
10.3 If you breach these Terms & Conditions and we choose to ignore this, we will still be entitled to use its rights and remedies at a later date or in any other situation where you breach the Terms & Conditions.
10.4 We shall not be responsible for any breach of these Terms & Conditions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
